That's what keeps the regular season so important, knowing that home field through round one and two is huge. Besides, the logistics of travel and setting up those bowl games would make it impossible to play playoff games at bowl sites. The system described here is the only perfect system out there. I have it so that teh first two rounds are at home, the national semis are at one location and the national championship game is at another. This would make it more realistic for fans to travel, as it is less travel than an NCAA tournament basketball package (3 rounds, 3 locations potentially). This plan would not have an unsold ticket - ever. I think too many rounds of playoffs at bowl sites would doom a playoff plan, personally.
