2011 Brackets Unveiled

There were no surprises at the very top of the playoff brackets tonight, as #1 seed L.S.U. takes their undefeated record into a home game next weekend against Arkansas State.    Alabama edged out Oklahoma State for the #2 seed and hosts Northern Illinois next weekend while the Cowboys host Louisiana Tech.   Stanford will play West Virginia as future Indianapolis Colt Andrew Luck gets some playoff experience, while Oregon hosts Southern Mississippi on the other side of the bracket.

Wisconsin takes to the road to play at Kansas State, with the winner likely getting L.S.U. in round two.  And Clemson  heads to the blue turf of Boise State to play the Broncos for the likely right to play Alabama.  In the lone remaining matchup of the first round of the playoffs, T.C.U. plays at Arkansas with the winner probably facing Oklahoma State.

These are some fantastic games coming up this weekend, and we’ll bring you all of the coverage you need leading up to this year’s NCAA BCS Football Playoffs.
